Music Appreciation Meet in Chennai; Register now

Daylong workshop on songs based on Lord Rama; Chennai
In the backdrop of Sri Ramanavami, Aalaap (a Chennai-based initiative in the performing arts and assists artistes in the many aspects of ideation, design, content, curation and publicity) is presenting Ramavali, a day-long workshop that attempts to explore and impart nine songs based on Lord Rama. Dr Subhashini Parthasarathy, well known Carnatic vocalist will helm the session. The 9 songs that will be taught will celebrate the glory of Rama interpreted by different composers and languages.
