Tamil Nadu Eyal Isai Nataka Manram (under the Directorate of Art and Culture) in collaboration with Bhavans, Chennai Kendra presents the Panchamurthy Isai-Natya-Nataka Vizha at the Bhavan's auditorium from Feb.1 to 5. The fest is open to all and offers a mix of music, dance and theatre.
The inauguration is on 1st February at 10.15 a.m. by T.V.Gopalakrishnan, Sudharani Raghupathy, L.Sabaretnam and Dr. D. Karthikeyan, Commissioner of Art and Culture
The first recital is a Bharatanatyam concert, "Vinayakar Pillai Tamil" by Uma Nambudripad Satyanarayana followed by Harikatha by T. R. Kamala Murthi
From Feb. 2nd to 5th all events start at 6.30 p.m. Here is the schedule -
2nd Feb - Thiruppugazh – "Santha Thamizhil Kandha Kadavul" - by Valayapettai R.Krishnan , T.V.Sundaravalli and Bhavya Harishankar
3rd Feb - Bhagavata Mela - "Sri Krishna Jananam – Kamsa Vadham" – S.Natarajan & group (Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Jayanti Bhagavata Mela Natya Nataka Sangam)
4th Feb - Thevaram - by S. Gnanasambanda Oduvar and Bharatanatyam - "Tirumurai Thirunadanam" - by Narthaki Nataraj
5th Feb - Villupattu - "Ambigayin Arul" - by Subbu Arumugam
