KARNATAKA: Dance academy's silver jubilee

Gaana Nritya Academy, the dance school of Bharatanatyam guru and dancer, Vidyashree Radhakrishna celebrates its silver jubilee - in Sullia, Karnataka.
On February 22, the evening programme (3 p.m. onwards) includes a dance recital by Vidyashree's guru - Dr. Seetha Kote from Bengaluru who will present a theme recital - performing 'Purandara Darshana' - along with the brilliant musical ensemble. The 25th annual festival is called 'Aarohana' and the evening will also feature dance recitals by students of Vidyashree.
