Sri Krishna Gana Sabha in T. Nagar will present a new-look if all the plans which were launched some months ago fall in place when the postponed festival opens on December 20.
The whole campus gets a new name - Yegnaraman Centre for Performing Arts. Naming it after the man who strove every bit to raise this place from what was just a thatched shed on plain ground in one nook of Thyagaraja Nagar.
The hall will have a new Bose audio system, cushions in all refurbished cane chairs and a redone stage.
Plus, the halls get a make-over.
Work is on 24 house after the deluge cause a break and sabha secretary Y. Prabu, Yegnaraman's son says he hopes to have a bright launch on Dec.20.
The sabha schedule will follow concerts and events listed in the original schedule. No changes wil be made unless artistes call of.
