Bangaloreans win Music Quiz

V. Sri Krishnanand B.Geethafrom Bangalore lifted the rolling trophy as winners of the annual KutcheriBuzz Carnatic Music Quiz held on Christmas afternoon at a Mylapore hall.
In the final which featured 4 teams, the Bangaloreans who were here to soak in the season "took a shot" at the quiz and came out tops. The other finalists included R. Hariram and C. Ram, Manikandan and T.R. Aravindhan, V. Harish Krishna and Lalitha, The finalists were chosen after a preliminaryround in which about 75 people took part the scores were high and close and showed that even children who were in the quiz contributed to the scoring.
Audios, visuals, teasers and commemorative milestones in the music world made up the questions. The quiz was conducted by R. Revathi who reviews concerts, writes on music and is a 'student of music'. Gifts were sponsored by Mylapore Times, Sukra Jewellery, Giri Trading Co. and Surya Sweets & Greens.
