Bhavan's fest launched
Two senior artistes – violinist A. Kanyakumari and Neyveli Santhanagopalan were decorated with ‘lifetime achievement’ awards as the first music and dance festival of the 2015 edition of the famed December Season got underway at Bhavans in Mylapore on Friday evening, Nov.20.
Sudha Ragunathan not to perform
One big name who will not been seen performing this season is vocalist Sudha Ragunathan. On the advice of her doctor, Sudha has called off all her concerts at the sabhs where she was signed up.
