Nandi Fine Arts honours T. V. Sankaranarayanan
Nandi Fine Arts, Chennai will present the first Shrimath Sadguru Shantananda Swamigal award and the title of `Nandikeswara Nada Kaladhara' on senior vocalist T. V. Shankarnarayanan during our Annual Music Festival on Dec. 18 to be held at the Varasiddhi Vinayakar Temple, Besant Nagar, Chennai. The annual music festival featuring eminent musicians will be on from Dec. 18 to 24 at the same venue.

Guru Vandana music festival
Bangalore based Indian Institute of Music and ArtsS (IIoMA) conducts its annual music festival celebrating Guru Shishya parampara. The fest will be on for three days from Dec. 23 to 25.
Concerts by students of veteran gurus will be held on all the three days. The artistes featured in the festival are students of gurus O. S. Thiagarajan, R. Vedavalli, T. V. Gopalakrishnan and Sanjay Subrahmanyan. Students who learn instrumental music from artistes - gurus Kalyani Ganesan (Veena), N. Ramani (Flute), Lalgudi Jayaraman (Violin), A. Kanyakumari (Violin), T, Rukmani (Violin), Kadri Gopalnath (Saxophone), Guruvayur Dorai (Mridangam), T. K. Murthy (Mridangam) and Nerkunam Sankar (Khanjira).
Programmes will be helt at 5.15pm on all these days at Tatvaloka, Eldams Road, Teynampet, Chennai.
