Two Music-theme Walks; Triplicane & Mylapore
Writer and historian V. Sriram has announced two 'musical' walks for December. Each of the walks is priced at Rs 750 per head and the surplus from these will go equally towards the Rotary Club of Madras South Trust and the Blue Cross, which are doing work by way of flood relief and rehabilitation of those affected – respectively humans and animals.
On Sunday, December 13, 2015 – A Musical tour of Triplicane, to look at its contribution to the arts. The walk will have artistes Aarathi and Archana accompanying the group, and singing at various locations. The walk will begin at 6 am and end at 8.30 am, with breakfast at a nearby location.
On Saturday, December 26, 2015 – A Musical tour of Mylapore, to look at its contribution to the arts. The walk will have artiste Ashwath Narayanan accompanying the group, and singing at various locations. The walk will begin at 6 am and end at 8.30 am, with breakfast at a nearby location.
