| Arshiya Sethi, Creative Head, Programmes at Habitat World, India Habitat Centre, Lodhi Road, New Delhi, has been awarded the Fulbright Fellowship for the Arts. She is likely to be attached to the Lincoln Centre, New York, which has the largest dance collection in the world. She is presently collating address, telephone no.s, emails, websites of artistes, art-writers, scholars and organizations of music and dance, to develop a directory on a CD format, which will be presented to the Lincoln Centre, UNESCO, and other significant international agencies that are interested in promoting the Indian Arts.
Says Arshiya, "The directory is to serve as a tool for empowering Indian artistes and to disseminate in the west access points to Indian Arts."
