Sumuki served the Lady Sivaswami Iyer Girls High School, Madras, and after retirement, joined the Kalakshetra school, under Rukmini Devi.
The founders Dr. S. Amarnath, a Lecturer in History, S. Surendranath, a Creative Director and S.
