Antara Nritya Niketan in the western India town of Poona, or Pune as it is now known, is about to stage a unique dance event on August 19. There is to be a combination of Italian ballet and traditional Bharatnatyam dance, that will be presented.

Guru Anuradha Jog is hosting this event and she says "this is something of a dance Jugalbandi."

The dancers will present a famous composition of Carnatic music maestro Dr . M. Balamuralikrishna

Giovanna Leva is said to be a famous Italian ballet dancer and she is also a disciple of Bharatanatyam guru, Yamini Krishnamurthy. Leva will be presenting the show along with students of Anuradha Jog, who has set the choreography. Anuoshka Hardikar has co-ordinated this event.
