| Tanjore Quartet Navarathri Festival |   | |||
 Dance guru Subbaraya Pillai, Chinniah Sivakumar (son of the late K.P. Sivanandham and Saradha Sivanandham) and the family of the Tanjore Quartet host the 'Tanjai Naalvar Music and Dance Festival' on 6 October, 2003 at Krishna Gana Sabha, Chennai.
The programme commences at 5 pm and features 'Greatness of the compositions of the Tanjore quartet' a presentation by Neyveli R. Santhana Gopalan, Chandrasekara and Guru Kripa group; Bharatanatyam by senior dancer and yester-year actress Vyjayanthimala Bali, vocal concert by Tanjavur Sankara Iyer and veena duet by R. Pitchumani Iyer and R. Raman. Felicitations will be offered to Senior Prince of Tanjore, Babaji Rajah Bhonsle, Periyakulam zamindarini Haripriya Ramabhadran,senior musicians T.M. Thiagarajan, Thanjavur Sankara Iyer, mridangist T.K. Moorthy, veena vidwan Pitchumani, violinist M.S. Anantharaman and dancers Vyjayanthimala Bali and Indu Varma. | ||||
