| Violin meets guitar... |   | |||
 During one of his concert tours in Germany, carnatic violinist Neyveli S.Radhakrishna, chanced upon Matthias Muller, a Jazz and pop guitarist. Muller who had a stint in Chennai, learning veena, was fascinated by Carnatic music, and wanted to form a music group along with Indian musicians.
The chance meeting blossomed in to friendship and mutual admiration. Thus was born the music group 'Ahimsa', with five musicians, on the auspicious Vijayadasami day in 1999. Radhakrishna and Muller recorded their the first CD in Germany partnering Armin Metz on bass guitar, R.Yogaraja on percussion and A.S.Shankar on Ghatam. 'Ahimsa' has now recorded the second CD in Germany, titled 'What is the nature of Spirit?' The music has been mastered at Capa-Pie studios, one of the largest recording studios in Europe.
