T. S. Govindarajan, C.P.M.G., A.P. circle, released the postage stamp of Saint Annamacharya to commemorate 'The 500th Annamacharya Aradhana Samapanotsav' on March 18, 2004 at a glittering function organized by Annamacharya Bhavana Vahini at Annamayyapuram in Hyderabad.

His Holiness Tridandi Ramanuja Chinna Jeeyar Swami blessed the occasion and received the first album containing the postage stamp, first-day cover with cancellation and brochure.

D. K. Adikesavulu Naidu, Chairman, T.T.D. was the chief guest and N. Ramesh Kumar, Secy., Co-op. & Mktg. Govt. of A. P., presided over. The programme was put together by Dr. Shobha Raju, the Founder President of Annamacharya Bhavana Vahini, Hyderabad.
