| Felicitations to T N Seshagopalan |   |
 A function is to be held to felicitate musician Madurai T. N. Seshagopalan to mark, both, his fiftieth year as a music artiste and on his being awarded the 'Padma Bhushan'. The event is on April 4 at 4.20 pm at Narada Gana Sabha Hall, T. T. K. Road, Alwarpet.
An audio-visual presentation on 'TNS--the legend--timeless in time' will be presented by Dr. T. K.Murthy. R. Krishnaswamy, Chairman of Federation of Sabhas, Madras, will release a souvenir on him. A set of CDs and cassettes by T. N. S., 'Meenakshi Navarathnamalika', will be released on the occasion. K. S. Mahadevan, art critic, will speak on 'The musical legacy of T. N. Seshgopalan' and writer Sujatha will speak on 'TNS-the multi-faceted genius'. The function will end with a music concert by Seshagopalan. |
