At the valedictory function on April 23, 2004, the title of 'Isai Arasi' was conferred on carnatic vocalist Sudha Raghunathan. Musician M. Balamurai Krishna presided and presented the award.

The trust founded in 1954 has been hosting carnatic music concerts, bhajans and harikatha and celebrates Ramanavami with a long music fest in the months of March-April every year.

This year, it was held from March 1 to April 24.
