In memory of B.V.S.S. Mani 
Lalitha Kala Vedika celebrated its 9th anniversary with a two-day event at Music Academy's mini hall, Chennai, recently.

A cash award in memory of the founder B.V.S.S. Mani was presented to senior violinist Parur M.S. Gopalakrishnan.

Flautist N. Ramani and dance gurus K.J. Sarasa and Chitra Visweswaran were also honoured. A Bharatanatyam recital featured Chitra Chandrasekar Dasarathi.
