Says Manet that the album is a homage to his mother town, "It has been more a case of being in love with Pondicherry that has enabled the creation of such an album. It is mainly a tribute to this beautiful land, which has an intermingling of the Indian and French culture". And here, Manet sings in both Tamil and French. He has been accompanied by vocalists Nithyasree Mahadevan and Prema. All the 10 songs featured in the album were composed by Raghunath Manet and the lyrics have been penned alongwith Yuga Bharati and Jaya Rayar. The song on Pondicherry has been filmed by film-maker Chezhian.
