Violin maestro Lalgudi Jayaraman was felicitated on the occasion of his 75th birthday, at an event on October 7 in Chennai. It was hosted by Krishna Gana Sabha and the sishyas of the violinist.

Also, on this occasion, Kosmic Music released a 3-volume album, 'Master Piece' featuring Jayaraman's live concert at Krishna Gana Sabha recorded in 1984.

The digitally re-mastered album has been produced in aid of Krishna Gana Sabha's building fund.
