| Nadaranjani's 'Kartheeka Sangeethothsava' / Bangalore |   | |||
| Nadaranjani Sangeetha Sabha, Basaveshwara Nagar, Bangalore conducted the 4th Kartheeka Sangeethothsava at Dharini Mahila Sangha premises.
This year the festival started with the Chithraveena recital by Ravikiran on Nov. 25. The festival was inaugurated by G. Padmanabhan (Former Director I.I.S.C). On Nov. 26 there was a vocal concert by Vidyabhushana and on Nov. 27 there was a vocal concert by Bombay Sisters C. Saroja and C. Lalitha. On Nov. 28 there were lecture demonstrations by Hamsalekha on 'The role of Marga & Desi in the field of Music' and by Dr.T. S. Sathyavathi who spoke on 'Musical values & Philosophical contents in the Keerthanas of Sri Thyagaraja'. Apart from this festival, the Sabha also organizes talent promotion concerts and monthly music concerts on second Saturdays.
