| Natyarangam's dance workshop at Thennangur |   | |||
| Natyarangam, the dance wing of Narada Gana Sabha holds its annual workshop for dancers from February 24 to 27, 2005 at
Thennangur, a village on the outskirts of Chennai.
This year, the workshop is designed primarily for young dance teachers and performers. Senior dance guru Prof. C.V. Chandrasekhar is the convenor. Interactive sessions will be presented by dance gurus Shantha and V.P. Dhananjayan, yoga specialist E.R. Gopalakrishnan, musician Rama Ravi, artist Nagarajan and Tirupur Krishnan on poetry appreciation. Thennangur is a temple town, that houses a Pandurangan shrine. The workshop will be conducted at a hall near the temple, which offers a unique ambience. he partcipants at the workshop also get to take part actively in the temple festivities.
