Veena Seshanna awards / Bangalore |   |
| The Governor of Karnataka T.N. Chatrurvedi presented the 'Veena Seshanna Memorial Award' (Rs. 25,000) to the veteran seven-stringed violinist R.R. Keshava Murthy (92) at an event held in Bangalore recently. The 'Swara Murthy V.N. Rao memorial award' was presented to senior Carnatic vocalist T.K. Govinda Rao.
The awards have been instituted by Bangalore based Swara Murthy V.N. Rao Memorial Trust.
