Deepotsava music fest / Bangalore |   |
| Ananya GML cultural Academy celebrated the festival of lights with a musical festival 'Deepotsava', from 6 to 13, November 2005. The festival was inaugurated by Vimala Rangachar. This was followed by a vocal concert by T S Vasanthamadhavi, a senior artiste from Bangalore.
Kashi Vishalakshi, Rupa Sridhar, R S Ramakantha, M S Govindaswamy, K. Varadarangan, B R Padmanabha Rao and S Shankar were the other artistes featured in this festival. N S Krishnamurthy was the chief guest for the valedictory.
'Nada Laya Vrishti', a CD produced by the group 'Laya Milana' of Sri Mookambika Thalavadya Samsthe, was released on the occasion. The festival concluded with a vocal concert by S. Shankar, a leading vocalist from Bangalore.
