A talent hunt for young singers of Carnatic classical, light music, folk music, Hindustani and choral music is being launched by All India Radio (AIR). AIR is holding a competition for artistes between 16 and 24 years of age on June 30.

You can get application forms from the AIR station in Mylapore, Chennai. An entry fee of Rs. 100 has to be paid by the participant and this must be made by money order and sent along with the application form.

Deadline for application is June16. Competition is on at all the stations of All India Radio, throughout the country.
