Vocalist Nedunuri Krishnamurthy celebrated his 80th birthday recently. The celebrations were held for three days from Oct. 27 to 29 at Narada Gana Sabha, Alwarpet in Chennai.
His disciples Malladi Brothers, Bharatiya Sangita Vaibhavam Trust and a few well-wishers had arranged for the grand celebrations during the three days.

Audio CDs of veteran musician Dr. Sripada Pinakapani, from whom Nedunuri Krishanamurthy learnt, Srirangam Gopalaratnam, another vintage musician, Malladi Suri Babu, Voleti Venkateswarulu were released on the occasion.

Apart from concerts by Young musicians, T. M. Krishna, Abhishek Raghuram and Malladi brothers, the celebration saw vidwan Nedunuri Krishnamurthy felicitating many eminent musicians.
