Ethukkadai jathis used in jatiswarams and in the middle of an elaborate varnam in four different forms.
The vocalisation of the jathis with nattuvangam accompany the mridangam playing in this CD. Dancers Priya Murle and Sasirekha Balasubramaniam, disciples of Prof. Sudharani Raghupathy provid the nattuvangam.
Jatis in other talams such as Misra chaapu, Kanda chaapu, Kanda chaapu, Roopaka chaapu and sankeerna chaapus add variety to the composition of jatis. Dancers and choreographers can use these jatis to suit the korvais and adavu patterns set to their imagination.
