Friends and well wishers of Bangalore-based vidwan R. K. Padmanabha got up an event on Sunday (June 15) to felicitate him on his recent achivement - the inauguration of a unique tambura-shaped temple that is dedicated to the greatest composers of Carnatic music in Rudrapatna, Karnataka.
