Carnatic vocalist Charulatha Mani’s latest audio CD album 'Sankirtanam – Popular Telugu Kritis', produced by Rhythm Audio Pvt. Ltd. is launching on July 16, 2010. The event will be held at at Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, Mylapore.

The occasion will be graced by several dignitaries including Dr Pappu Venugopal Rao, renowned musicologist and Secretary, The Music Academy.

'Sankirtanam' includes popular Annamacharya pieces, Thyagaraja pieces and bhajans as well. Charulatha Mani’s 'Isai Payanam – Live in UK' MP3 album containing classical pieces and raga-based film songs will also be released on the occasion.

The release function will be followed by a concert by Charulatha Mani. She has just returned from a concert tour of Australia.
