Thyagaraja aradhana: note from organiser

The organisers of the annual Thyagaraja aradhana in Thiruvaiyaru, Thanjavur, Tamil Nadu have asked artistes who wish to take part in the mass singing of the pancharatna kritis at the 2021 aradhana to carry a Covid negative certificate if they wish to take part and to also register themselves with the host.

The aradhana this year will be only for two days - Feb.1 and 2.
The mass singing takes place on Day Two.

This year, the aradhana will be opened at about 4.30 p.m. on Feb.1 and closes by 8.30 p.m. on Feb.2.

The certificate will have to be valid till Feb.3. Artistes have also been asked to wear masks and respect social distancing norms that will be followed at this aradhana.

Artistes who wish to participate on Feb.2 need to contact either of the two secretaries of the Sri Thyaga Brahma Mahotsava Sabha (Regd.) in Thiruvaiyaru, Thanjavur district, Tamil Nadu. They may do so by Jan.27.
