273rd Sri Narayana Tirtha aradhana: Tamil Nadu

The 273rd year aradhana of Sri Narayana Tirtha will be celebrated for three days from March 12 to 14 at Thirupoonthuruthy, Thanjavur, Tamil Nadu.

 The event on March 12 will begin at 3.30 p.m. with Tirumurai rendition by K.P. Nallasivam, Tamil University, Thanjavur. This will be followed by the nagaswaram recital of Kalyanapuram Brothers (5 p.m.) and Sriram Kasinathan’s namasankirtanam (7 p.m.)

The programme on March 13 will feature Krishna Leela Tarangini (3.30 p.m.) to be presented by the students of Mythili Kannan, Thanjavur, to be followed by vocal and instrumental recitals by the students of Tiruvaiyaru Tamil Nadu Government Music College (5 p.m.) and Moganur Srikanth’s namasankirtanam at 7 p.m.

The events on March 14 will begin with nagaswaram recital and unchavritti (8 a.m.) The evening programme includes music programme (3.30 p.m.); namasankirtanam (5 p.m.); Tarangam rendition (7 p.m.) and Anjaneya utsavam (8.45 p.m.)
